Main Purpose:
Ensure that the Company transactions are timely, accurately, and consistently evaluated and recorded in the Financial Statement.

  • Keep records and information, for the Audits and Reviews, with the analysis and reconciliation that
support our financial position.

  • Support the accounting daytoday activities, the closing process, and the related Company Audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze accounting data, evaluating accounting options, to recommends financial actions to Management.
  • Register monthly journals (leases, prepayments, accruals, payroll, and general provisions).
  • Managing special journals entries and ensure proper general ledger coding in support to monthly closings.
  • Prepare reconciliations assigned, resolve financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information in order to complete and document the reconciliation of the transactions.
  • Recording bank daytoday transactions.
  • Support Monthly and Annual Closing Processes under the FM and Controller's request.
  • Evaluation and recording of retail rent, under contract.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the assigned reports.
  • Other functions, as requested.

Requirements:

Required Education

  • Minimal experience in similar position of 1 year
  • Bachelor's Degree-Accounting or Finance
  • Able to analyze financial information
  • Selforganized
  • Previous experience in Excelfunctions, pivot table
Preferred Education

  • Bilingual: Spanish-English.
  • Previous experience with Navision.
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Team work

Experience:

  • Audit experience is preferred in public accounting or internal audit
  • Experience in a similar role in an industrial business, Oil industry experience is preferred
  • Experience in financial/accounting management & reporting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel (required) and with Hyperion (desired);

  • Ability to compile, analyze data and prepare complex financial reports and statements

  • Good organizational skills to have a system to keep track of responsibilities, transactions and any important dates and deadlines that need to meet to ensure that you fulfill all duties.
