Provide budgetary policy and guidance to staff. Collect, edit, tabulate, analyze, interpret, and disseminate qualitative and quantitative data related to fiscal policy, expenditure, and allocation issues.

Serve as liaison and work in close collaboration with the Office of Financial Resources (OFR) regarding extramural program and administrative issues.

Minimum Qualification Requirements Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level of difficulty and responsibility in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph.


Specialized experience is experience at or equivalent to which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position to include experience in administering the extramural budget and providing a variety of functions involving major grants, cooperative agreements, contracts, interagency agreements, and memoranda of agreement.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
