Specialized Tours include our Customized Tours portfolio as well as new trends and specialized tour programs that cater to specific market segments.This is a full-time, temporary intern position with a start date of January 13th, 2025, and an end date of July 31st, 2025.
The role will require 5 days in the office for the onboarding period and after that can move to a hybrid role (minimum 3 days in the office, Tu/We/Th).
WHAT YOU WILL DO: As an intern you will support the operations staff (Specialized Team) in providing culturally immersive travel for North American students who choose to discover the world with us through group travel.
Your main role is to assist our team in, ensuring a beautiful experience for our customers both leading up to, and during the program.This role is based in Panama; however you will be working closely with the Operations team based in Zurich Switzerland.
For this reason, the working hours of this role are 7-4pm to allow for more overlap time in the office.
Main areas of responsibility: Assist with group bookings for business partners, museums, activities and restaurants across Europe
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Optimize and coordinate group logistics with external vendors
• Ensure all supplier safety checks are processed and administered effectively Providing emergency telephone service for operational cases (taking calls, logging cases, resolving cases).
Provide on-tour support and assist with the operational tasks required to produce a tour.
Assisting with group bookings for business partners, museums, and activities throughout Europe.
Handle late tour changes such as late additions and cancellations of travelers.
Requirements -Solution oriented, flexible, innovative and driven· Strong communication and interpersonal skills· Showcasing adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment· Calm under pressure and can handle competing priorities, high call/email volume with a sense of urgency· Organizational skills and great attention to detail· Fluent in English.
