**Position Summary
We are currently looking for a highly competent Regional Procurement Manager based in our Global Procurement HUB in Panama, responsible for supporting Zones Latam & North America commercial and strategic sourcing activity of the Aseptic Equipment and Packaging Solutions category for the Nestle’ Food & Beverage manufacturing operations.

Reporting directly to the Global Category Manager for AEPS, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the sourcing strategy for the addressed spend in zones Latam & NA by using strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies, as well as working closely with the global Nestle Technical Competence Centers and R&D functions to drive the implementation of the category strategy, support innovation, sustainability projects and drive standardization processes.

**A Day in the Life of a Regional Procurement Manager - Aseptic Filling Equipment and Packaging:
- Support the Global Category Manager in defining the category strategy for the spend scope and implement it by using Strategic Sourcing processes, tools and policies.
- Take the lead on Regional sourcing projects and to drive Total Delivered Cost (TDC) reduction.
- Manage the relationship with various regional and local stakeholders to integrate the spend category strategy, value creation plans and outcomes in the investment planning and budgeting.
- Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities and implement them. Create a competitive environment for Nestlé’s scale.
- Build on synergies between Nestle factories’ needs, directing all the potential efforts to obtain the best opportunities for cost optimization and value creation.
- Introduce / develop new suppliers in close cooperation with the validating technical stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
- Manage and lead supplier relations with key strategic suppliers under the category’s scope.
- Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards.

**What will make you successful:
- 5-10 years of experience in sourcing, supplier management and strategic procurement,
- Experience in packaging, CAPEX / technical equipment sourcing, Project Management and/or Engineering in FMCG companies.
- Strong flexibility and mental agility to work in a cross-functional and multicultural environment with different technical categories.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across a complex organization, and also externally with suppliers worldwide.
- Demonstrated successful use of risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relation management best practices.
- Previous exposure to manufacturing/ engineering / machinery procurement will be an asset.
- People oriented and collaborative way of working.
- University degree in either Engineering, Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance.
- High fluency in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a strong asset
