This position will engage in various work assignments and challenging hands-on projects to develop the knowledge and skills to perform professionally within the Merchandising team. The Intern will interact with cross-functional departments, including Product Management, Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Planning to gain exposure and understand various organizational roles.

They will have excellent exposure for a future role in a Retail Merchandising / Buying environment. They will work with the Merchant team to develop the seasonal merchandise assortment while supporting the department through the entire product life cycle. Maintain Seasonal Assortment files.

Create weekly product Newsletter for Retail Stores. Support development of fleet database including store profiles, product, and customer attributes. Visit local TUMI locations. Interact with retail associates, gain customer insight and shop the market to understand competitive landscape.

**Salary**: Compensation for this part -time position is $20.00 per hour. Qualifications: Currently pursuing an undergraduate (Junior year +) or graduate degree with an interest in a merchandising career. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Passion for products and s trong analytical, math and problem-solving skills.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently within deadlines.

Careful attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to rely on instructions to perform the functions of the job.
