**Job Description**:
Position Summary:
The DC Manager in Skechers Latin America is responsible for day to day overseeing of the 3rd party distribution operation at the DC with the ultimate goal of ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders to customers. This person will be working with the 3rd party at the DC to ensure that the following is performed in accordance with company objectives:
- Orders are processed and completed in a timely manner.
- Completed orders are shipped in the most expedient and cost-effective manner possible.
- A high standard of inventory integrity is maintained.
- All work is performed in the most cost-effective manner possible.
- Supplies/equipment vendors are evaluated and chosen for best value, and are maintained to ensure efficiency of the operation.
- Security of merchandise and company assets is safeguarded.
The person in this position will be required to quickly learn all aspects of the operation, delegate the daily workload, ensure effectiveness of 3rd party performance, train employees, monitor all aspects of the operation, communicate with and support the goals of sales and allocations departments, and maintain distribution management in the US well-informed of all pertinent details.
Education, Experience and
**Required Skills**:
- 10+ years' experience in DC management.
- Demonstrable experience and success in most aspects of DC Operations.
- Significant knowledge and experience in importation and exportation related to Central and South America.
- Excellent business communication skills in English and Spanish, including following up, listening skills, written, and oral.
- A college degree in related field preferred.
- Experience in footwear industry distribution preferred.
- Experience with Manhattan Associates or similar WMS software preferred.
- Advanced PC and MS Office skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to visualize, create, implement, and document effective processes.
- Ability to create effective reporting.
- Ability to train others in an effective manner.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Essential Functions:
1. Receive daily allocation notice and ensure orders are bridged in, filter issues are addressed, and tickets are waved as soon as possible.
2. Ensure waves are built for best efficiency and in a timely manner.
3. Ensure processing operations are working tasks in the correct order and replenishment is completed in a timely manner.
4. Ensure picktickets are complete to 55 status by the end of a 24-hour processing cycle.
5. Ensure ticketing and VAS is completed quickly and efficiently and prioritized in regard to ship dates.
6. Ensure that shipment bookings are being made aggressively and with regard to best transport available, considering cost, reliability, and time to destination.
7. Ensure that product is correctly prepared and finished prior to shipping date.
8. Ensure the ongoing integrity of outbound shipments and loading process.
