Your role at Tumi: The Director, Sales - Wholesale Ecommerce is an ambitious person who is motivated by sales, knowledgeable about digital marketing, passionate about product, experienced in operational efficiencies and highly analytical.

This individual will be a key driver of the North America wholesale business and expected to lead and execute the brand and distribution strategies within the Wholesale Ecommerce channel while identifying areas for growth. This role leads a small team of one dedicated salesperson, and partners with the rest of the wholesale organization as well as internal cross functional partners to maximize sales opportunities. - Oversee the sales team Wholesale Ecommerce - Motivate and manage sales team to achieve and exceed annual sales targets - Drive the wholesale ecommerce strategic plan, with a heavy focus on maximizing Amazon sales - Manage the digital marketing spend for all Wholesale Ecommerce, looking for opportunities to drive online growth - Partner with marketing to ensure all wholesale needs are captured, with a focus on multi-brand ecommerce experiences - Generate additional revenue through promoting opportunities for growth via new ideas or improving existing processes - Explore operational efficiencies of different business models for wholesale ecommerce, evaluating options for shipping and inventory management - Strategically partner with Account Executive on new business development opportunities - Collaborate with wholesale planner to provide accurate forecasts in both core and seasonal newness - Lead regular sales reviews of retail sales, forecasted shipments vs. actual shipments, and inventory levels with Account Executive - P&L budget management, partnering with VP of Wholesale - Partner with VP of Wholesale on annual sales budgets and strategies to achieve the sales plans by account - Other projects as required We're Excited If You Have: - 10+ years related experience, 3+ years relevant digital experience - Direct experience with Amazon in both a 1P and 3P capacity - Digital marketing experience - Luxury experience a plus - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Strong retail math skills - Excellent written communication skills, engaging verbal communication skills, strong oral presentation skills - The ability to combine strategy and execution; a willingness to step in and get the job done - Comfortable using technology to inform data driven decisions - Detail oriented, highly organized, time management skills - Ability to travel, approximately 15%, more if needed - This position is NJ based, with ability to be in NYC office as needed Why you'll love working here: At TUMI, you'll find a dynamic working environment, joining a community where each team member is empowered with an entrepreneurial spirit.
