**Project Engineer**:

Working as a Project Engineer, you will be engineering projects in Process Automation, Marine & Ports division in Panama City, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

**This position reports to**:
Engineering Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Compliance with the technical requirements of the client
- Follow-up of deliverable milestones (plans and equipment)
- Coordination with the engineering team for design
- Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors
- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards
- Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline
- Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project

**Your background**:

- At least 1 year of experience in similar positions (evidence of project management). 3 years as work experience in projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical or related engineering
- Experience in the area of electrical discipline
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
- Availability to travel
- Advanced English level
