**You are responsible for**
- Supporting Philips’ Commercial Spend Category & Sourcing strategy on regional and/or global level, which may include professional services, IT hardware and software, testing and certification.
- Analyze and create overviews of relevant spend using data gathered from suppliers, internal reporting systems and industry sources.
- Lead and support price negotiations with fact-based information derived via in-depth analysis of quotations vs. baseline cost profile.
- Lead in the development of costing models and quoting templates for RFQ or RFP activities.
- Identify and develop data-driven business cases with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the way of working within the Philips. (e.g., supplier consolidation, supplier development, cost benchmarking and negotiations)
- Creates and aligns sourcing plan together with internal stakeholders to optimize Philips’ supply base and to implement Supplier enabled innovation.
- Ensures operational impact through fully compliant supplier selection, contracting and risk management for all Category related suppliers.
- Accountable for ensuring Philips receives the maximum value contracted
- Managing Supplier Relationship, Performance and Contracting based on clear targets and ongoing Business Review Meetings with key suppliers
- Organizing, implementing, and driving process efficiency by leveraging standard work, service providers (internal/external) and scaling effects

Improving user experience and ensure Buying Channels, policies and ordering workflows are understood and accepted by the users

The Spend Management organization sits within Philips’ Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). Spend Management covers the procurement activities of all indirect (non-product related) materials and services within Philips covering such areas as logistics, industrial, real estate, marketing, IT, facility management, and travel.

Philips spends approximately €5 billion annually on indirect services and products and this organization plays a key role to achieve Philips’ critical business metrics. Spend Management ensures Philips receives the most value out of every dollar spent. You have an opportunity to join a diverse, dynamic and multi-functional team, seeking to create a significant impact on our company.

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following**
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience (or 2+ years with MBA)
- Experience in related functional areas (Procurement, Supply Chain or Operations) is a plus
- Independent problem solving, strong networking & influencing skills (internal and external)
- 2 years project and change management experience
- Certification in Supply Chain and/or Procurement preferred (CPSM, CSCP, SCPC, CSCM, CIPP)
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced data analytics / modeling skills (Power BI, DBA, Qlikview, queries, Excel, complex pivot tables) preferred
