**Description**:
**What You’ll Do**:
**Responsibilities**
- Manage strategic account portfolio, prioritizing customer accounts and deduction types in line with defined strategies in order to drive efficient AR management
- Facilitate the gathering of support documentation, and communication with relevant parties to gain approvals necessary to resolve deduction types contractually agreed upon with retail partners (Returns, Markdowns, Advertising, etc.)
- Research and resolve Customer Compliance deductions, negotiating settlements with retail partners as necessary for disputes relating to non-compliance (Shortages, Pricing/Handling Errors, etc.)
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and recognize potential commercial reasons for dispute issues
- Resolve commercial issues causing disputes through strategic ongoing cross functional relationships/coordination with all levels of Customer Service, Transport/Logistics, Order/Billing, Master Data and other departments as needed
- Understand processes of internal and external parties (Distribution Centers, EDI teams, etc.) to identify potential issues, take corrective actions, and drive timely resolution upstream of AR
- Act as Power User for legacy reporting systems (AS400, eDemo, etc.) used to facilitate the transmission of deduction information, resolving issues as necessary to ensure timely and accurate reporting of information
- Develop reporting and maintain analytics to record and monitor historic trends related to deduction types, both contractual and dispute related
- Research and respond to requests from Brand Finance regarding charges to their financials related to customer disputes
- Partner with Third Party Provider in the delivery of AR services, providing guidance and assistance for day to day activities related to Deductions management
- Support Process Transformation, working with various stakeholders to facilitate end to end process review and assessments, identifying opportunities to drive increased harmonization and standardization across brands, departments, and processes
- Foster environment of integrity, monitoring adherence to applicable SOX and Operational controls, facilitating risk assessments & audit control testing
- Prior Retail industry experience preferred
- Participate in projects around process redesign, new brand integrations, and system implementations
- Engage in and suggest continuous process improvement ideas
- Ensure that all activities are performed in the most efficient and effective manner possible

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Administration preferred
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ years
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems; SAP desired
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability collaborate and drive cross-functional consensus and strong communication and presentation skills necessary
- Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and to multitask
