Result of Service
The main objective of the Graphic Designer will be to design and layout the documents that are developed within the framework of the NAP project in Honduras, including those that are part of the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) program. This under the branding established for the project and following the branding of UNEP.
The consultant will be responsible for the execution of the following activities:
a) Develop a work plan, schedule, and methodology for the established deliverables, including an approach to the socialization and validation process.
b) Develop a document indicating stages, formats for the construction, socialization, and validation process (workshops, bilateral meetings, technical consultations, meetings with expert groups, official platforms).
c) Develop materials according to the branding standard of the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Program.
d) Desing graphic layout templates for documents. This will be used to establish a visibility standard amongst the documents related to climate change included in the Biblioclima platform.
e) Design graphic layout templates for infographics. This will be used to establish a visibility standard amongst the infographics related to climate change included in the Biblioclima platform.
f) Develop graphic design layout templates for presentations. This will be used to establish a visibility standard amongst the presentations related to climate change included in the Biblioclima platform.
g) Provide guidance with the data processing and systematization of the tools applied in regional dialogues by NAP Honduras to be shared with the approach of "consensus-building and socialization with the related sectors/actors." This would include the mapping and characterization of information sources and processing actors (Identification of actors for success stories).
h) Process systematization report to be shared with the assistants of the regional dialogues.
i) Develop materials to contribute to the closing of the project for activities including workshop/s, symposiums, communication materials, etc. in conjunction with the communications consultant.

**Responsibilities**:

In terms of supporting countries in the region to achieve global commitments under the Paris Agreement, the UNEP Climate Change Subprogramme for Latin America and the Caribbean aims to strengthen countries' capacity to move towards climate resilience and low-emissions strategies for sustainable development and human well-being. Within this framework, the UNEP Climate Change Subprogramme, through its Climate Change Unit, leads and supports various initiatives aimed at designing, promoting, and implementing innovative mitigation and adaptation solutions at the national and sub-national levels, and strengthening countries' transparency frameworks.
The expected achievement with regard to climate change adaptation is that adaptation approaches, including ecosystem-based approaches, are implemented, and integrated into key national and sectoral development strategies to reduce vulnerability and strengthen resilience to the impacts of climate change. Similarly, the UNEP Climate Change Subprogramme also commits to ensuring that cross-cutting issues such as gender equity and women's empowerment are effectively integrated into the development of its tasks to ensure equitable development in line with its adaptation objectives.
