Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise usually gained outside of BCG in either industry, government, academia, or specialized consulting.? WHAT WE NEED BCG is seeking an entrepreneurial, driven, Growth Tech Expert Project Leader with excellent project management and communication skills to build our business with Growth Tech companies. Growth Techs are high-growth, tech-enabled businesses poised to be the leaders of tomorrow. This person will wear many hats and be responsible for: managing the day-to-day operations of BCG’s Growth Tech business (e.g.
pipeline management, revenue and budget management, knowledge creation, preparation for internal leadership meetings); initiating and executing strategic initiatives to grow our Growth Tech business (e.g. brand building, events, business development with Growth Techs); and contributing to case work execution with our Growth Tech clients. This position will sit within BCG’s Technology practice. As an Expert Project Leader, you will be integrated into a BCG team and leverage your deep expertise on projects that reshape businesses.
You will be given end-to-end responsibility for large and complex “modules” within a BCG project and may lead small but high-impact teams to drive results for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, and win buy-in for your recommendations, while also collaborating with colleagues on complex cExlient issues. Your expertise will be valued by senior clients and you will help build and contribute to BCG’s intellectual capital while spending significant time supporting and executing case work. WHAT YOU’LL DO?
In this unique role, the ideal individual will split their time among: Managing and building BCG’s Growth Tech business, including Managing the day-to-day operations of BCG’s Growth Tech business (e.g. pipeline management, revenue and budget management)Building a strong brand for BCG’s growth tech offering by leveraging and expanding his/her network to promote BCG's growth tech effort, initiating and executing brand building activities (e.g. events, content creation, social media, community building, etc.)Raising awareness and building brand internally by connecting with partners across practice areas, promoting the value proposition of BCG's growth tech offering across the organization, preparing for internal leadership meetingsManaging BCG’s growth tech intelligence by compiling lessons learned and latest developments in the growth tech space, both within BCG as well as externally, liasing with Knowledge TeamsHelping to shape BCG's offering to growth techs by informing BCG's approach based on prior experience and learnings in the market, and leading their advancementInitiating business development efforts and supporting case work execution, including: Driving BCG's growth tech business development efforts by supporting partners in their business development activities: leading proposal development, preparing for pitch meetings, originating leads
