General objective:
To enhance participatory processes and capacity building in Peru's climate change initiatives by providing expertise in workshop design, facilitation, monitoring, evaluation, and coordination.

1) Specific objectives:

- Facilitate participatory workshops and improve reporting by designing and preparing agendas and methodologies for participatory workshops. The consultant will systematize comments received and compile them into reports to enhance the work of the High-Level Commission on Climate Change, the National Commission on Climate Change, and the Platform of Indigenous Peoples. Lastly, the consultant will facilitate face-to-face and virtual meetings and workshops at the regional and national levels, ensuring necessary documentation such as commented agendas.
- Monitor changes in representation and evaluate work plans by continuously monitoring changes in the representation of members in climate change commissions and platforms. Prepare and coordinate a proposal for an evaluation report on the work plans of the National Commission on climate change, the high-level Commission for climate change, and the Indigenous Peoples' platform.
- Promote public participation and environmental commitment by designing and implementing tools or instruments to identify and systematize the need for public participation to enhance the environmental commitment of communities in Peru.
- Analyze indigenous peoples' participation, prepare reports, and analyze indigenous peoples' participation in meetings, workshops, workgroups, and regional seminars. Prepare detailed reports on conferences and workshops held with non-state actors.
- Improve participation of non-state actors by proposing methodological and logístical improvements to increase state actors' participation quantity and quality. Coordinate with the communications team to develop communication materials, such as flyers, memory aids, and press releases, for workshops and meetings with non-state actors.

2) Activities:
a. Design and preparation of agendas and methodologies for participatory workshops. Including the processes of systematizing the comments and compiling and integrating them into reports that improve the work implemented in the High-Level Commission on Climate Change, the National Commission on Climate Change, and the Platform of indigenous peoples to face climate change.
b. Facilitate face-to-face and virtual meetings and participatory workshops at the regional and national levels. Making the necessary documents, such as the commented agenda
c. Conduct continuous monitoring of the changes in the representation of members of the High-Level Commission on Climate Change, the National Commission on Climate Change, and the Platform of indigenous peoples to face climate change.
d. Prepare and coordinate a proposal for an evaluation report of the work plans of the national commission on climate change, the high-level commission for climate change, and the platform of indigenous peoples.
e. Design and implement tools and/or instruments that make it possible to identify and systematize the need for public participation to raise the environmental commitment of communities in Peru.
f. Conduct an analysis of the participation of indigenous peoples in meetings, workshops, and work groups: as well as regional seminars.
g. Prepare detailed reports on meetings, and workshops held with non-state actors.
h. Propose methodological and logístical improvements to increase the participation (in quantity and quality) of non-state actors.
i. Contribute with the communications team the development of communication materials such as flyers, memory aids, and press releases within the framework of workshops and meetings with non-state actors.
