Purpose and Scope of Assignment: The new position has a twofold nature. This role will coordinate all hub activities in Latin America, rangingfrom remote digital marketing and donor development. An experienced digital fundraiser will need to focus onthe development and delivery of digital fundraising activity including Google AdWords, display advertising,Facebook advertising, email, and marketing automation.Also central to this role s responsibilities and core function of the digital hub is to amplify, help optimize and,when appropriate, monetize regional and local communications efforts and campaigns. Establishing digitalcapacity and expertise in the region will support and propel UNHCR s ongoing efforts to: Drive the narrative about refugees,Change and challenge xenophobic attitudes and behaviors,Seize trends in digital marketing and communications,Increase UNHCR brand awareness and trust in the organization, laying the groundwork for furtherfundraising activitiesMonitor and evaluate digital performance and accumulate audience and support insightsS/he will work with an integrated set digital infrastructure.

Knowledge and experience with donation platformsand payment gateways is a must. Hand-on experience with outbound marketing tools is important in both thehub activities and support to markets. S/he will work with internal resources and/or external suppliers to generate digital content and engagement.Duties include, though not limited to: Overall management and optimization of digital acquisition and donor development activities forremote market entry in Latin America.Management of digital advertising agency and other external partners ensuring budget control andpacing, and reaching digital fundraising acquisition targetsDevelopment of annual digital fundraising plans, targets, and projections for both digital acquisitionand donor development.Acting as System Administrator of the donation form Content Management System (CMS) coordination with HQ colleagues on landing page deployment, campaign creation and earmarking.Developing, sourcing, and sharing digital fundraising content for key digital channels, includingcontent and copywriting creation/adaption. Act as regional conduit for Spanish-language digital assetsharing.Working with HQ colleagues to develop and execute an email marketing program aimed atincreasing the lifetime value (LTV) of existing donors and converting non-donor leads.Working with HQ colleagues to develop and execute automated email welcome journeys, ensuringnewly acquired donors are on the most appropriate path to increasing their LTV.Ensure accurate reporting and monitoring of digital program and that appropriate tracking a taggingis in place per HQ guidance.

Ongoing performance reporting on progress against marketing KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs) and financial targets.Verify the accurate flow of data between digital fundraising platforms and database of record(Salesforce), resolving and/or escalating issues when identified.Identifying and acting on digital fundraising opportunities in remote hub markets; staying abreast ofnews and other local occurrences and events that may present fundraising opportunities.Coordinating with communications and Public Information (PI) colleagues throughout the region onregional campaign development, amplification, monetization (where relevant), and post campaignanalysis and reporting.Staying abreast of new digital channels, tactics and approaches to digital marketing, both locally andglobally, to ensure remote hub activities are at the forefront of digital marketing and fundraising best practice.Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize ecommerce performance and payment acceptance rates,identifying and testing new payment methods and gateways that could help increase landing pageconversion rates.Other duties as required. Monitoring and Progress Controls: Annual performance reviewFinancial and marketing KPIs related to fundraising performance in remote markets Qualifications and Experience: (List the required education, work experience, expertise, and competencies of the individual contractor.The listed education and experience should correspond with the level at which the contract is offered.) Education : An undergraduate degree in marketing, e-commerce, business administration, communications orother related fields is required. Work Experience: 3 years relevant work experience (2 years with a graduate degree, 1 year with a doctorate) indigital marketing or digital fundraising for similar organizations or performance driven brands.Experience managing paid digital advertisings campaigns, either in-house or through agencymanagement.Experience working with content management systems, e-commerce portals, and paymentgateways such as WorldPay, Stripe and PayPal.Experience executing email programs and working with marketing automation platforms suchas Salesforce Market
