Application Engineer

**The impact you will make in this role**
- As an Application Engineer working on Automotive Aftermarket, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

- You will interact constantly with cars and manual operations, so being a “hands on car crazy” is important.

**Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Hands-on product demonstrations for large groups (internal and external training)
- Field testing and new product evaluations
- Working on new product introduction projects/teams
- Developing new systems and customer solutions
- Developing value propositions for the products/systems
- Developing competitive awareness and testing competitive products
- Developing technical communications packages
- Creating e-learning solutions
- Financial understanding of the collision repair business
- Organizational skills in preparing for training
- Creating and enhancing presentations (PowerPoint and other computer skills)
- Collecting and analyzing voice of customer data
- Process mapping
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Expertise**:

- Bachelor degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited university
- 3+ years previous experience in the collision repair / automotive / heavy duty truck / marine industry
- Technical diploma in automotive painting
- “Can do/will do” attitude
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening and presentation)
- Ability to analyze, problem solve and implement solutions
- Excellent computer skills
- Innovation skills to generate new ideas or alternative solutions
- Ability to lead teams
- Effective "hands-on" demonstration techniques
- Being passionate about cars and the automotive industry
- Languages: English
