**Position Summary**
We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Procurement Manager based in Panama, responsible for managing the commercial and sourcing activity for Demineralized Whey used by Nestlé worldwide.
Reporting directly to the Global Category Lead, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the category strategy for the spend in scope on a global level, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

Located in hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia, our division provides a range of services, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and other services. We also support markets with managing local spend. **A day in a life of a Global Procurement Manager for Dairy (Demineralized Whey)**:
- Manage the procurement spend for whey globally through developing a sourcing strategy.
- Be responsible for the ESG strategy on GHG and responsible sourcing.
- Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct RFP´s, contract management, e-auctions and supplier management to support the overall sourcing strategy.
- Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
- Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
- Collect and analyze data to support development of Dairy sourcing strategies.
- Run the daily administrative tasks and ensure they are carried out in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
**What makes you successful**:
- University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing sourcing strategies for direct material spend categories (dairy preference).
- Proven experience in contract management, supplier management, negotiation, tendering and the use of tender tool such as Ariba and e-auctions.
- Experience with sustainable and ESG climate initiative within food and agriculture supply chains.
- Strong expertise in suppliers’ management, ideally with exposure to US and Europe dairy market.
- Rich analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
- Exposure to hedging tools and other options tools will be an advantage.
- Fluency in English, another language will be an asset.
