Retail Training Manager LAPAC is responsible for shaping PANDORA's retail training program and supervising, developing, and delivering the program across all of our Businesses.
This role is a critical partner in creating training content, retail DM trainer, wholesale training team, retail leadership team, and visual merchandising team. This team, led by the Manager, provides onboarding and ongoing training to PANDORA's retail store associates and store managers across the topics of product knowledge, sales techniques, retail operations, and visual merchandising. Your Role as Retail Training Manager LAPAC: Partners with retail leadership team to understand retail team initiatives, priorities, and objectives, as well as to communicate challenges and opportunities observed in stores. Partners with training content developers in creating training program content needed for onboarding and ongoing training of retail store associates and store managers Sets priorities and provides direction / clarity for retail trainers aligned with retail team initiatives, priorities, and objectives.
Monitors progress in achieving retail team initiatives, priorities, and objectives, and course corrections when / where needed. Builds partnerships with key players on the retail team, communicating relevant information and gaining support for training programs, and encourages trainers to do the same. Prepares and conducts one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations for retail trainers, recognizing individual strengths and performance gaps and coaching on appropriate action plans Coaches trainers on effective workload planning, scheduling, and prioritization Fosters teamwork within the training team Facilitates group training when needed at large company events. Manage Special Training programs in the region.
**What is needed to succeed**: Strong, seasoned training experience with vertical retailing, and omni experience. Equivalent combination of experience and education accepted. 8+ years of solid experience working within Training areas and experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG industry. Strong business acumen, fact-based, analytical, and strategic Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor team members to complete projects to established standards and within required deadlines.
Ability to lead broad cross-functional implementation of new processes. Ability to proactively and proficiently diagnose problems and identify solutions. Comfortable building reports and working with data, including understanding of retail KPI metrics. Strong written and oral communication skills.
It is a MUST that you have strong English proficiency. Portuguese and other languages are a BIG PLUS (Korean, Japanese) Represent PANDORA brand positively, internally and externally. Effective collaboration and influencing skills Able to perform under pressure, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills Ability to be part of a team, set challenging standards, develop strong partnerships, and lead others to action.
