If you match this description, get in touchWhat youll doEnsure proper process execution and compliance of all record to report processes, which includes Month End Closure, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Trial Statement Review, Balance Sheet Review and Journal Vouchers).Safeguard the compliance with accounting standards and regulations (Phillips Lighting Accounting Principles, IFRS, local regulations, directives).Execute and review internal controls related to your domain in a timely and accurate manner.Manage and support internal and external audits.Manage all stakeholders (both internal as well as external).Manage, own, and optimize the process end-to-end.Working closely with the Financial Controller.Continuously look for improvements and implement quick wins.Focus on innovation and automation.Create a plan how to set KPIs, monitor them and improve the outcomes.Be the champion in problem solving, understanding root causes of issues, implementing countermeasures, and embedding the new way of working.Be the expert in IFRS.Run process improvement projects.Your qualificationsBachelors degree completed in Accounting, Finance or related.+ 5 years experience in accounting.Experience with working in accounting process, and experience in accountancy firm is an advantage.Experience in working in a multinational and in a complex matrix organization.Experience in shared services and in monitoring a service provider.Proven track record in safeguarding the financial integrity.Good knowledge of another local GAAP will be an advantage.Excellent knowledge of IFRS.Profound knowledge of end-to-end finance and accounting processes.Ability to analyze the total balance sheet / General Ledger and raise proposals to improve.ERP knowledge, preferably SAP, Blackline, Runbook, AICO.Role model as team player.Ability to work with other cultures.Fluent in English is MANDATORY.Portuguese is a plus.Who we are?Signify is the world leader in lighting.
