Manager, Dev Ops

What's The Role? Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Platform, the Manager of Dev Ops & Release for the Digital Platform and Apps in LLA role is at the heart of our Digital Transformation process. The Dev Ops Specialist will lead DevOps efforts for the internal and external teams and set up manage and maintain build and deployment systems for Platform Development and Platform Operations. Familiar with Dev Ops practices, methodologies and tools, for Digital Commerce and Care portals.

Owning the build system, monitoring, for multiple environments, working closely with partners ensures that these are efficient, optimized and help to drive internal transformation and acceptance of agile methods and ways of working. What You´ll Do Work with Architects and DevOps to support deployment activities. Drives, Designs and manages the operational and hosting infrastructure for the Digital Platform and Apps. Work with other departments and organizations to align processes and approaches.

Manage and supports the deployment of Apps to different stores. Manage and helps gather operational data to support the business. Manage and maintain governance over licensing, maintenance, and support of internal development, deployment, and testing tooling including selfhosted opensource tools and third-party vendors. Support release management processes - acts as a bridge between ‘Agile’ and ‘Waterfall’ release management.

Support and instrument build, deployment and post release processes. Build, update and fixe DevOps workflows. Extend and enhance the ‘Build System’ to improve efficiencies and performance. Works to automate and simplify the processes to ensure more reliability and resilience.

Factors in Security and compliance activities in to the Design, Develop, Deploy, Operate cycles. Supports and helps operations team with urgent operational issues. May work across multiple Squads or across multiple lines of business. Knowledge And Experience Graduate level (Bachelors or higher) degree in Information Technology or related field.

Significant technical centric job experience (5+ years) can count in place of technical degree. Experience of working with modern Dev Ops tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Jira CI/CD. Git Hub). Experience of working with Node.JS and Angular Applications and development environments.

Experience of working with automation frameworks for deployment, testing and security (Appium, Cypress and others). Agile Qualifications preferred. AWS certification preferred.
