We are looking for a Structuring Specialist to join our team: The Structuring Specialist will support deal structuring and risk assessment of commercial transactions, seeking to growth the business and maximize the variable margin of the portfolio assets while meet the customer's needs and shareholders expectations.Responsibilities: Collect and analyze complex market and business data metrics to perform forecasting models incorporating Mark to Market valuations, Hedge Position Analysis and best modeling practicesAnalysis of market fundamentals to identify risks and opportunities to be considered during the forecast processSupport the development of pricing models to price traditional products in power market and value commercial risks in transactions (Mark to Market, Mark to Model, Price Premiums)Support the design of commercial strategies for asset and transaction optimization across portfolio of Power and FuelsSupport Scenario Planning and Risk Management activitiesManaging the Middle Office function in the ETRM system, reviewing trades, loadshape curves and other transactions to ensure accurate capture of valuations in the systemReview documents (MOUs, PPA drafts, etc) during negotiations.Qualifications: Bachelor´s degree in Engineer, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Business, EconomicsMinimum 2 years in the energy industry with experience in liberalized electricity marketsExperience in customer-facing areas, is a plusUnderstanding of Mexico, Panama, and/or Dominican Republic energy markets, is a plusAbility to interpret complexity in contracts, tariffs, regulations, market rules - Ability to grasp engineering concepts related to operations and understand their implication in commercial transactions.Team player with ability to work well with others open to feedback and debateEntrepreneurial and self-motivated spirit with creative and inquisitive mindsetAbility to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracyProblem solver; actively seeking new challenges and ideas; enjoys a fast-paced environment that constantly changes, motivated to find new ways of doing thingsStrong quantitative and analytical skillsAdvanced experience with MS Office Suite, Fundamentals Market Models (PLEXOS, SDDP, OPTGEN, NCP, or similar), Risk Decision Tools (Powersimm, Palisade Decision Tool Suite, Cristal Ball or similar) and Reporting Tools (Power BI, Qlik or similar)Experience in programming VBA, Python, R, database queries and report automation activities - Knowledge of Allegro or other ETRM system, is a plusAdvanced English and Spanish communication skillsNuestro compromiso es acelerar el futuro de la energía ??Si estás buscando una nueva oportunidad, te gusta aprender y te gustan los desafíos mientras compartimos un gran clima laboral, esta es una gran opción para vosTe esperamos
