- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the protection of company assets.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for signs of unauthorized activity and potential security breaches.
- Manage security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and address potential weaknesses in our systems.
- Collaborating with team leads to ensure that security measures are integrated into every aspect of our operations.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents, including conducting thorough investigations and recommending remediation steps.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Assist in developing and delivering cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees.
- Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide guidance and support for compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- The duties and responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including but not limited to
- performing tasks, managing projects, and collaborating with teams. This list is not exhaustive, and the individual may be expected to undertake additional responsibilities as needed for the effective operation of the department or organization.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, both spoken and written, is required.
- Preferred 3 years of IT related experience.
- Understanding of security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
- Hands-on experience with security tools, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, cloud-based anti-virus, and SIEM solutions. Knowledge of additional tools such as Bitdefender, KnowBe4, and proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Admin Security and Compliance portals are considered advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA or related certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex security concepts to non-technical employees.
