Finance & Control Manager - Panama

Accounting closing coordination: impeccable execution in time, reasonableness and presentation according to Company guidelines.
Prepare the closing plan and monitor the performance and completion of all the processes by the relevant parties according with the plan
- Approve accounting and administrative transactions in EBS and where applicable
- Ensure compliance with account statements according to SOX guidelines. Reconcile accounts monthly and follow up on issues according to SOX guidelines. Ensure the correct operation of the processes and controls of Fixed Assets, Procure to Pay, Order to cash, Inventory, Cash and Banking, Intercompany, Tax Management, etc. Ensure and supervise timely 100% of Bank reconciliations, ensuring the appropriate aging and process controls
- Ensure and supervise timely 100% of fiscal compliance (income tax, municipal, VAT, etc)
- Compliance with assigned SOX controls: 100% effective
- Participation in initiatives and projects related to IFRS- Lead and ensure the success of internal and financial audits: 0 material findings or business impact. Identify and promote robotics and automation processes in financial processes
- Identify insights for management reporting and key indicators related to Working capital, Cash Flow, etc.Key Interfaces
- Acting as finance point of contact between the local operation and HQ- Cooperation with external auditors to achieve satisfactory audit outcomes
- Keeps senior management informed of project status through periodic status reporting and project updatesQualifications
- Chartered Accountant / Accountancy or equivalent
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and controlling, including experience with 3rd party suppliers (SSC, external advisors, external auditors, etc.)
- Extensive IFRS accounting experience
- Any previous TowerCo, Real state or related industry experience will be considered as an assetCore Competencies
