The Role

We are looking for a highly qualified individual to fill this key position. As a Global Violence Against Women Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the grants portfolio, leading the development and implementation of the regional portfolio strategy, and providing technical advice for grants selection and management processes. You will also play a key role in capacity enhancement and knowledge management support to grantee partners.

This is a challenging opportunity for someone who is passionate about ending violence against women and girls. If you have a strong background in program management, including program design, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree or equivalent in social sciences, political science, development, public administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in program management, including program design, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Experience working directly with civil society organizations and women's groups in the area of ending violence against women and girls.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office Suite of Applications.
