About the Role

As an IT Infrastructure Services Intern at Philips, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our IT Infrastructure Services team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Management: Assist in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining network systems to ensure seamless operations.

2. System Administration: Provide support in managing servers, databases, and storage on premise and on cloud solutions to maintain data integrity and system performance.

3. Technical Support: Offer technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.

4. Project Assistance: Collaborate on various IT infrastructure services projects, contributing to planning, execution, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience or coursework in IT infrastructure, networking, or system administration is advantageous
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of network configurations, server management, and IT security principles
  • Currently in your last year pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Cisco certification (such as CCNA) is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative on tasks and projects
