Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary

Quest Software is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions. As a key member of our team, you will direct the development of robust security measures to protect our digital assets, including networks, applications, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the design, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions to protect digital assets
• Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze security incidents, respond to security breaches, and direct incident response efforts

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Familiarity with System Life Cycle Development methodologies and the 800 series of NIST Special Publications
• Practical knowledge of IT audits and full security assessment processes
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as security scanners and automated compliance checkers

Preferred Qualifications

• Expert level familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to individuals with varying levels of cyber experience
