Global Portfolio Strategist for Latin America and the Caribbean

UN Women seeks a skilled Regional Portfolio Specialist to manage its grants portfolio in Latin America and the Caribbean. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with expertise in programme management, including design, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting, and capacity building.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a regional portfolio strategy that aligns with UN Women's priorities and goals.
- Lead the provision of strategic support to grantees, ensuring high-quality results monitoring and reporting.
- Manage and monitor the regional grants portfolio, ensuring optimal resource allocation and compliance with standards.
- Provide technical assistance and specialist advice on ending violence against women (EVAW) programming for UN Women grantees.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Political Science, Development, Public Administration, Gender Studies, or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in programme management, including programme design, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting, and capacity building in EVAW.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.
The successful candidate will have strong programme formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation skills, as well as familiarity with Results Based Management and budget planning. We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
