We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Personal Assistant to support our English Coordinator in ensuring the efficient operation of the English department. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including administrative support, teacher coordination, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the department. Your role as a Personal Assistant will be crucial in maintaining high academic standards and meeting the school's expectations. This is a part-time position with 5 hours of work per day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and ensure that teachers upload grades accurately and on time.
- Supervise English classes and provide support to both teachers and students.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and confection worksheets, tests, quizzes, and other educational materials.
- Conduct regular evaluations of teachers to ensure they are meeting the school's standards and expectations.
- Provide administrative support to the English Coordinator, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for the English Coordinator.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process of new English department staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the English department's activities, such as teacher evaluations, student performance data, and departmental budgets.
- Act as a liaison between the English Coordinator and other departments within the institution.
- Assist in the preparation and dissemination of departmental communications, including newsletters, memos, and announcements.
- Collaborate with the English Coordinator to develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Monitor and ensure that teachers are adhering to curriculum guidelines and meeting educational standards.
- Support the English Coordinator in the evaluation and improvement of teaching materials and resources.
- Assist in the coordination of professional development opportunities for English department staff.
- Conduct research and gather data to assist the English Coordinator in making informed decisions and recommendations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the English department.
- Offer innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance the quality of education provided by the English department.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, students, and parents.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in educational software, online platforms, and office productivity tools.
- Previous experience in an administrative or personal assistant role is preferred.
- A background in education is desirable but not required.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking initiative to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.
- A positive attitude, patience, and the ability to work well under pressure.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: B/.350.00 per month
