JOB SUMMARY The incumbent plays a critical role in the Intercompany Operations group, focused heavily in the America’s region, supporting the Panama LC Operations. The role is responsible for operational management and improvement of LC Panama management system. Including project leadership specific to Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, KPI’s and other Operational initiatives, Pfizer Network Optimization and external projects that interact with, but are not driven by, the Intercompany Organization. Additionally, provides the Panama Logistics Center with tactical logistics and operational support while coordinating all activities related to development, implementation and reporting of a comprehensive performance measurement system, standardization and ERP best practices across the sites/processes.

He/she has direct accountability to drive the definition, monitoring, reporting and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with in our group, and to collaborate with other functions to ensure alignment.This position reports to the IO LC Panama / Singapore Site Leader and is part of the LC Panama/Singapore leadership team.Other area of focus include: Secure operations follow up.Daily escalating meetingsTiers / KPI’s as per defined cadence to sustain and continuously challenge the performance.Strategy development and deployment through Lean methodology in collaboration with key stakeholders Standard work and leader standard workContinuous improvement program in close collaboration with Pfizer Global Supply and Global Supply Chain (GSC)Maintenance and development of costing and staffing models for the entire operations in close collaboration with the overall IO organization in general and all IO LCs in particularPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Challenge and improve the core process’ in the operations to ensure long term competitiveness from an end to end perspectiveImprove process stability through standardization and automation as applicableMaintain and develop the operations continuous improvement program in close collaboration with GSC Operational Excellence organizationLead the creation of a sustainable work environment where each colleague clearly understands the need of continuous improvement and sees it as one of the main responsibilities of each positionProject ManagementJointly and/or independently leads selected project work streams;Facilitates project team meetings;Coordinates cross-functional activities;Ensures delivery to agreed timelines.Operational ExcellenceUtilizes and supports the use of OPEX methodologies (Operational Excellence)Utilize RFT tools where appropriate to assess, define and implement efficiency opportunities;Support M1, GB, BBB and M4 initiatives within operations through team involvement, project leadership, and colleague support.Metrics and ReportingWill be the anchor point for KPI’s/ORM generation and facilitation in the IO group, a full accountability. Works in close collaboration with the Intercompany Operations Leaders to assure conceptual definition, design of KPI system, and to drive the reporting process. ERP Continuous ImprovementERP continuous improvement, support and coordinating identified areas for improvement in close collaboration with ERP, IO Business and support teams (ERP Technical and Solutions).Area and Sites Culture ImprovementAssists in the deployment of site culture improvement initiatives (reference site’s Pfizer Voice survey results).EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree required; MA/MSc/MEng/MBA degree or other advanced degree, preferably (Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.).Must have Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement experience and demonstrated knowledge of CI (Continuous improvement concepts and tools in Six Sigma, Lean, others). 6 plus years’ of job experience, and at least experience or demonstrated knowledge of Logistics/Distribution, Operations, Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management processes.Preferably (not mandatory) with Pharma or Healthcare experienceDemonstrated experience in managing projects teams, programs, or work streams of varying levels of complexityExperience with aligning stakeholders, facilitating conflict, and communicating information in a way that enables leaders to have transparency on the underlying issues and potential solutions in varying settings including workshops, small group sessionsor one-on-one meetingsStrong oral and written communications capabilities.

Strong presentation and facilitation skillsFluent with technology solutions to manage projects including appropriate Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and SharePoint. Also strong computer skills required especially in Excel or Access, and MS Project. Fluent in Spanish and English (excellent conversational level and able to lead meetings and detailed discussions).Experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP
