What the role isThe Country Marketing & Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring sales promotion, revenue generation, optimizing promotion, distribution and social channels of all products available at the Selina locations in the defined territory.This position reports to the Country Managing Director at location. Your mission is to unlock revenue growth across the country and deliver business to the Selina locations with a creative sales and marketing strategy and strong execution skills.

You should be focused on driving marketing, promotions, PPC campaigns, social channels, industry marketing, sales blitz, visit trade shows, drive sales in all segments such as; OTA’s, Groups, B2B and other forms of hotel marketing and sales. You will provide marketing and sales support on both a countrywide and local strategy format to other locations. Additionally, as a global brand, you will collaborate on best practices with our other country marketing and sales teams to drive demand brand-wide.What you will be doing Create, manage and execute the sales and marketing actions plan and forecast. Achieve revenue goals for all products (accommodation, F&B, Explore, Cowork, Wellness).

Manage, retain and grow established customers (individual) and groups (group business). Responsible for all sales and marketing processes at location level and synergies with other country or global location. Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations. Oversee the customer experience.

Cross-selling of products (i.e. Explore products to other businesses locally) Upselling and cross-selling in location level to optimize revenue per customer Open new sales channels and manage existing ones. Group sales conversion, turnover and operational support. Create local level packages based on special events and local experiences offered (lead the collaboration with country and global level sales teams).

Close local level deals for groups and packages (corporate offsites, student groups, etc.) with the help of country and global teams when needed. Sourcing new tour products and destinations to meet consumer demands. Prospect new clients e.g. Tour Operators, Corporate, DMCs, Travel Agencies, M&E Agencies and Creative Marketing Agencies.

Ensure all staff are properly trained on Selina products, and how to sell and cross-sell them. Responsible for establishing and monitoring incentive campaigns the front-line team. Provide sales performance reports the country and regional leadership on tracking progress against targets, successes and challenges. Support in the creation of marketing initiatives for all products in the location with the support of the Country Marketing coordinator and external vendors.

Analyze data and provide reports with conclusions. Responsible for ensuring Explore promotional sales content is spread adequately around the location areas (Reception, Selina Home, Selina Playground, Selina CoWok property hallways, mood boards, elevators, rooms, partner transportation vehicles, etc.) Conduct Sales Mission and attend trade shows in accordance with the market. Report analysis on Guest Satisfaction Surveys Marketing, Advertisement and Promotions Program Management Program management, including ownership of B2B and B2C marketing collateral and messaging and program performance tracking. Manage, retain and grow Loyal Customer Base through direct channels.

Coordinate with an outside agency on PR placement and overall strategy. Lead the Country Marketing Program, including the design and implementation strategy, identification of key/priority markets, agency outreach, development of marketing collateral, and ensuring program engagement and participation. Priority Properties, Relationship Management & Marketing Support. Development of Marketing Action Plans.

Lead the marketing on-boarding process for new properties, including brand and program introduction and ongoing support for grand opening promotional and advertising opportunities, brand standards, and marketing program participation. Manage the On-Property Promotions, including the development of the promotional calendar and marketing collateral support and property activation and performance tracking. Support and execute on-property Photography and local brand assets, including ownership of Global Brand Standards, the approval process for new property assets, coordination and scheduling of property assets, and content management across owned and 3rd party channels.
