**_ Context:_**
Under the overall supervision of the Senior Program Manager and direct supervision of the
Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) sector coordinator the Information
Management Officer will be responsible for coordination and implementation of information
management activities in relation the sectors coordination. The incumbent will actively engage in
initiatives under the different IOM Area Of Responsibility (AOR) within the Inter-Agency
Standing Committee framework (CCCM, Shelter/Non-Food Items (NFI) and Migrants’
coordinate and harmonize the collection and analysis of data related to migration and
displacement and the concerned partners’ response.
**_ Core Functions / Responsibilities:_**
1. Contribute technical inputs for the development and implementation of an effective
information management strategy for Haiti.
2. Check that information management tools are adapted to meet IOM and global clusters
standards and the sector needs and bring issues to the attention of the supervisor.
3. Contribute to the development of user-friendly assistance reporting formats in close
consultation with the sectors’ members; these reporting formats should include provision for
gender and age disaggregation of data and reporting on more vulnerable groups.
4. Develop templates, catalogues and style guides for general map production; provide
sector-specific maps and graphics on a regular basis that aid forward planning as well as impact
analysis.#
5. Encourage and guide the use of and training on the use of these reporting tools among
assistance providers and other stakeholders.
6. Track and follow up sectors’ partners in the provision of timely, consistent, and compatible
data and information on remaining shelter needs and assistance provided to support operational
analysis and decision-making.

8. Facilitate and follow up on the timely consolidation and analysis of assessments conducted
by Cluster members and IOM teams and set up tools for assessments if necessary.
9. Closely collaborate with OCHA to facilitate the appropriate and consistent reflection of sector
information.
10. Participate in cluster meetings, including IM working groups.
11. Produce, update, and follow up on IOM and the Sectors dashboards.
12. Coordinate the publishing and display of information on relevant clusters websites.
13. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
**_ Required Qualifications and Experience:_**
**Education**
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Demography, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a
related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional
experience; or
- University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
**Experience**
- At least two years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience in an international organization; and,
- Experience with handling confidential data.
**Skills**
- Advanced Excel, Access, SQL, web content management, Geographic information system
- Statistical analysis experience required. Ability to compile and holistically analyse diverse
datasets;
- Knowledge of the UN system, humanitarian community and cluster IM functions;
- Knowledge of protection-related guidelines, standards, and indicators including data
protection;
- Ability to develop IM-related technical requirements and Operating Procedures;
- Ability to translate planning-specifications into technical briefs for data capture and analysis,
