Field Operationtechnician

**FIELD OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN**: Is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment in a central office facility.
This includes voice, data, and video transmission systems, as well as power and environmental systems that support network operations.Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain central office equipment such as switches, routers, multiplexers, and digital cross-connect systems.Perform routine testing and diagnostics on transmission lines and equipment.Monitor network performance and respond to alarms or outages.Maintain and repair power systems including batteries, rectifiers, and generators.Document all installations, maintenance, and repairs according to company standards.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Coordinate with field technicians, engineers, and vendors for system upgrades or repairs.Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment.Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in electronics or telecommunications preferred.2+ years of experience in a central office or similar technical role.Strong understanding of telecommunications systems, including WDM, T1, DS3, SONET, and fiber optics.Familiarity with test equipment such as OTDRs, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Willingness to work on-call shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Network+Cisco Certified Technician (CCT)BICSI Technician CertificationOSHA 10/30Pay: B/.15, B/.20,000.00 per yearApplication Question(s): Do you have a valid USA visa?
