Engineering & Operations Manager - Panamá (Towerco)

Lead and coordinate, the implementation of regional guidelines related with Engineering and Operations & maintenance at country level with necessary local customizations - Implement and maintain the standard project management methodology for all relevant projects throughout the operation, not only for projects related to the operations area, but also for other areas such as markets and commercial. Implement Site Management Tool at Country level and ensure all processors are run using the tool and all the data in the tool are up to date. Deliver the Site Rollout & Co-location plans, ensure timely and on budget project execution with no delays and implement mitigation plans to handle unforeseen issues. Lead the local operations projects in the area, to ensure time and costs. Responsible for providing support and guidance to business units, markets, and other functional areas to implement and optimize effective processes throughout the organization. Achieve efficiencies by producing and executing cost saving initiatives. Lead land purchase programs at country level - Lead Landlord care and manage any issue related with Site Access. Implement processors related with site access and ensure rollout of any smart lock solutions proposed by the regional team. Provide entry to the global operating area, to continually improve global operating strategies. Based on permanent feedback, guidelines, and projects from the bottom up to meet country needs. Being part of the global planning process and supply chain strategy. Develop superior leadership through team selection, training and reinforcement. Ensuring global-local cooperation and communication. Issuance of reports requested by the Area of Management or General Management. Other tasks assigned to the position.Core Competencies - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field required. Required experience must include at least one of the following: 7 years of Civil Engineering, 7 Years of Operations and Maintenance at an Infrastructure company, 7 Years’ experience in infrastructure deployment. Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines. Basic knowledge of structural analysis software, CAD software, tower structures, and design methods. Negotiation skills, be able to lead land purchase project at country level - Good interpersonal skills to handle Landlord relationships and ability to find solutions for landlord issues in quick and efficient manner - Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate team to achieve results.
