Job Description AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Construction Engineer for employment in Panama City, Panama.
**The responsibilities include but are not limited to**: Under limited direction, applies advanced engineering theories, concepts, principles, processes and novel approaches to major and complex construction projects.
Utilizes advanced techniques and an extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering problems and methods.
Directs a group of engineers at a construction site.
Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating complex engineering assignments on a small to medium sized project.
Conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basins Qualifications Minimum Requirements BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Experience in performing inspection, design, and/or engineering activities in dams or water retaining structures Experience in the evaluation and validation of contractors change order requests against contract documents Bilingual - English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications 15+ years of experience in related field Excellent interpersonal skills, staff supervision, strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the project team, external project stakeholders, and leadership.
