Your role at Tumi: Tumi seeks a Director, Human Resources to partner closely with the Senior Leadership team by evaluating, leading, and implementing Tumi North America's people-focused strategies and programs, while supporting business goals and priorities.

Key programs and areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to: Work as a strategic, high impact partner to the business through collaboration, guidance, and development of programs that promote the Company's culture. Utilize the understanding of business needs, practices, and challenges to identify opportunities for better partnership, organizational effectiveness, and people needs. Build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels within the organization. Drive the implementation of strategies through the design of actionable steps to ensure employee experience outcomes.

Identif y key performance indicators for the organization’s Human Resource s ; assess the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics ; collaborate with partners to implement changes. Utilize KPI ’s to provide key information that influences organizational decision-making with the use of relevant, value-added metrics and data. In partnership with Shared Services, r esearch, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, and employee incentive programs. Lead the HR function ensuring alignment to solve business agendas and people initiatives ; manage data integrity through HRIS system oversight.

Drive a high-performance culture by guiding leaders on the importance of actively coaching and mentoring direct reports, providing regular feedback, and developing employees for wider roles and responsibilities to foster professional growth and development. Engage leaders on succession planning initiatives identifying current and forecasted talent needs while developing actionable plans that mitigate risk and prepare the organization to meet business objectives. Lead Human Resources efforts within the organization to foster an environment of openness and i nclusion ; ensure consistency in elevating key programs such as diversity and inclusion, onboarding, orientation, performance management, wellness, and human resources initiatives. Oversee employee relations matters throughout the organization and provide well thought out solutions.

**We're excited if you have**: 8+ years of experience in increasingly responsible and diversified human resource functions. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's Degree preferred. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels within the organization. A demonstrated resourcefulness in tackling problems with limited direction and guidance.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including ownership of department, projects and all responsibilities, taking initiative and using creative thinking to help achieve departmental and Company goals, and effectively managing change within the organization.
