Main Purpose:


Working with retail business to design reports/processes/strategies to derive benefits and improve decision making using the data that the business generates.

Key data streams come from our loyalty program, C-store POS, and forecourt fuel controllers.

Works closely with the Regional Retail and BI Analyst in the implementation of reports and dashboards.

Understand databases and analyze data

  • Design and implement data models that accurately reflect business processes and support analytical requirements.
  • Works with commercial teams to develop dashboards and reports to support ongoing analysis for decision making.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Identify data that could be valuable to the business and plan its extraction
Proactively looks for opportunities to improve decision making and business processes

  • Looks for opportunities to develop digital solutions to improve business processes
  • Looks for opportunities to monetize elements of the retail database
Promotes use of dashboards by the commercial teams

  • Constantly monitors use of dashboards
  • Promotes strategies to help the retail team to incorporate the dashboard data into their normal processes
  • Constantly looks for improvements to business dashboard.

Requirements:

  • Speak Spanish and English fluently
  • Capable of managing multiple initiatives
  • Available for possible relocation

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in analytics/data science/insights/strategy in a commercial enterprise
  • Multicultural environment experience
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions
  • Knowledge of Energy industry and Convenience Retail businesses and key processes is ideal

  • Good stakeholder management experience and comfortable presenting to senior leadership
  • Communication, analytical and organizational skills
  • Interpersonal skills and team working also virtually
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and coordinate resources
