JOB SUMMARY

Serving as the Property Manager on Duty and overseeing all property operations during the overnight shift to ensure the highest levels of hospitality and service are maintained. Representing property management in resolving any guest or property-related situations and personally assisting in issue resolution and task completion.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional areas.

OR

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related majors; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional areas.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Monitoring Property Operations

  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all Guidelines to Operations.
  • Ensuring employees are in proper uniform and groomed according to standards.
  • Managing all period-end inventories.

Supporting Profitability and Revenue Goals

  • Reviewing financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assisting in responding to and resolving guest issues, monitoring accounts receivable, and implementing action plans.
  • Managing employee hours, cash handling procedures, and overseeing chargebacks and rebates.

Supporting Human Resources Activities

  • Promoting participation in safety-related programs and monitoring employee attendance.
  • Promoting teamwork, employee morale, and informing employees of new operational procedures.
  • Assisting in handling employee performance issues, ensuring emergency procedure knowledge, and fostering employee relations and incentives.
  • Assisting in processing employee payroll weekly.
