The key purpose of this role is to contribute to the reduction of organizational risk in Medical Governance, including medical information (MI), medical affairs and clinical research within GSK Pharma for CARICAM.

This role will work with Medical Director to ensure that business operations are assessed to identify medical governance risks, these risks are tracked, communicated, and escalated to the appropriate line manager so that remedial actions are put in place to mitigate these risks

_ Your Responsibilities_:
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

  • Be responsible for medical governance at CARICAM (organization)
  • Work hand to hand with Medical Director in Medical Governance and Medical Affairs issues
  • Being an internal and external audit process leader for Medical Department
  • Maintain updated Medical Department Risk Map
  • Participate actively in RMCB meetings jointly together with Medical Director
  • Medical Department SOPs leader (Development and training)
  • Answer any requested information about Governance issues
  • Provide project management support and lead tactical continuous improvement projects as required and according to ADP principles and methodologies
  • Ensuring consistent standards and delivery and drive performance improvement across the team
  • Support the annual strategic planning cycle, monitoring tracking performance.
  • Provide the operational infrastructure required to run and effective organization

  • University degree. Preferably in Health Sciences
  • Advanced English
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to interact with diverse groups and individuals
  • Knowledge in Pharmaceutical products safety and understanding of product safety policies and procedures
  • Good organization/selfmanagement skills
  • Good people management skills

_ Preferred Qualifications:
_
- +5 years of experience in medical governance or medical operation roles

  • More than 5 years of experience in pharma industry
