As the CS FP&A Sr.Analyst, you will pro-actively support a key Market for Philips by delivering actionable and meaningful analytics, to support the planning and business performance analysis.
You will advise relevant stakeholders to properly manage their budgets, manage risks and facilitate fact-based decision making in a highly dynamic organization.
This Financial Analyst will work with a global FP&A team and senior leaders and will bring technical skills and financial knowledge to support forecasting and analysis for Philips' largest market.
You are responsible for
- Analyzing and reporting on Health Systems CS business performance for full CS P&L by means of Monthly performance, AOP, profitability, quarterly forecasting, strategic planning, cost control, target setting, pricing/margin analysis.
- Supporting the FP&A Sr. Manager to provide analytics and business insights, both on a monthly and ad hoc basis, to support Business Partners and Finance stakeholders
- Lead cost center planning and reporting by proactively engaging with cost center managers to manage and monitor cost and provide ongoing financial analysis support.
- Building and maintaining financial reports for stakeholders
- Supporting management to identify improvement opportunities by analyzing business performance and market variables.
- Providing guidance to financial and nonfinancial stakeholders on FP&A related matters and provide training on new reports, analytics, reporting, planning instructions, tools, changes.
- Taking initiative to bring relevant financial issues to the attention of relevant stakeholders.
- Participating in various BG/Sector/Market Finance improvement projects.
- Ensuring quality, accuracy, and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.
- Initiating and supporting process improvement and embedding Digital tools into the NAM market.
- Constantly be looking for new opportunities to improve and streamline existing ways of working in analysis and reporting.
You are a part of
The Commercial FP&A CoE team. We drive Integral Performance Management for and about Philips Markets.
We support the individual market organizations as well as the Group Markets team in understanding, driving and planning financial results, top and bottom line.
You report to the FP&A Director, Commercial Lead._This Sr Analyst works for NAM._
To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting orientated study.
- 4+ years of experience with financial control, management reporting and business analyses, preferably within an international environment.
- Advanced technical skills in Excel is a must. Experience with reporting & (data) analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, QlikView). SAP knowledge is preferred.
- Strong affinity with LEAN processes and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and strong analytical skills.
- Thrive in highly dynamic environment under tight deadlines. Ability to balance speed and accuracy
- Curious mindset, attention to detail, selfstarter and eagerness to learn
- Proficiency in English is required.
