**Main Purpose**: Function: The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the business unit.
- Analyse information and make appropriate recommendations to align various stakeholder expectations.Document and Model information in a variety of ways to convey a message clearly and accurately irrespective of audience.Be the main point of contact between the business unit and IT Application Designers.Extract relevant knowledge and expertise from business and IT resources and contribute to ongoing creation and maintenance of knowledge repositories.Assume Project Management responsibilities on specific projects where required.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Business AnalysisWorks closely with Business Units to understand business environment, stakeholders, processes, rules, business requirements, problems, opportunities, IT solution usage and solution requirements.Articulates all of the above for both business and IT using whatever means appropriate and in line with internal Business Analysis and Delivery standards.Works with Regional Leads to understand policies and procedures, and align Regional business units with these from a Business Analysis and Solution Delivery perspective.Works directly with Core Solution Delivery team to facilitate delivery from a Business Analysis perspective.Works with IT Leads to develop and work towards strategic IT goals relevant to Business Analysis.Works with Business Unit Leads to understand strategic business goals.Works with IT and Business Leads to align Business Analysis and Strategic Business and IT Goals.Compiles Business and Solution Requirement Specifications for relevant Business Units and IT Solutions, aligning to internal Business Analysis and Delivery standards.Assists Business and IT stakeholders with compilation of Requirement Specifications and other Solution Delivery outputs relevant to Business Analysis as required.Compiles, and assists with compilation of, any other documentation or models required to adequately convey environment, stakeholders, processes, rules, business requirements, problems, opportunities, policies, procedures, goals and objectives, IT solution usage and solution requirements.Provides Business and IT Leads with full visibility of work in progress and outputs as required.Provides Business and IT Leads with reports relating to Business Analysis activity as required.Extracts knowledge and expertise from Business and IT stakeholders and contributes to creation and maintenance of knowledge repositories.Works with Regional IT Leads to align Business Analysis outputs with core or regional models.Conducts meetings, workshops and presentations as required to facilitate Business Analysis and overall Solution Delivery.Training Proactively assists identification of training requirements on projects.Works with Training and Change Leads to address training requirements.Works with Training and Change Leads to align Business Analysis outputs with Training outputs to achieve optimal reuse across delivery streams.Leadership and Development Collaborates with business and IT units to achieve strategic, tactical and project goals.Provides leadership needed to instill a team-oriented, client
- and results-driven environment.Requirements: Experience: University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration fields.3-5 years' experience in Information Systems, Finance or customer service.Experience on business processes (Order to Cash, Finance, Procurement to Payment) and Commercial Programs delivering value thru medium and large projects.Experience in Oil & Gas or Retail industry (preferred).Kissflow (no-code) developer skills (preffered)Microsoft Dynamics ERP (GP, NAV, AX) is a plus.Projects planning and labor estimating experience.Team player with regional or global exposure.Skills: Fluent in Spanish and EnglishCustomer focusedService orientedTeam playerAnalytical and problem-solving skillsPlanning and organization skillsCompetencies: Good communications skills (oral and written).Able to influence, negotiate and build consensus.ProactiveAttention to detailMaturity of judgment under pressureAbility to diagnose level of user need and to implement solutions effectivelyMaintain both a professional and positive attitude at all timesKey Relationships and Department Overview: Key Relationships: Internal - In-country and regional function teams, Commercial team, Finance Team, Procurement team, OTC, Marketing team and IT regional team.External - Third-party ERP support providers, Oil&Gas Retail vendors, IT Support service providers and external consultants
