**GAF Panama** is looking for a **Payroll Specialist** based in Panama to support our expanding operations in the U.S. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring payroll accuracy, while also engaging directly with clients. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients over the phone, helping them resolve payment inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

You will work closely with a dynamic team to maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to compliance with U.S. regulations. Your ability to interact effectively with clients will be key to fostering trust and delivering exceptional service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Payroll**: Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring data aligns with company records for our USA clients.
- **Client Communication**: Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients over the phone, addressing their payment inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- **Discrepancy Resolution**: Verify payroll data and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Conduct general ledger reconciliation related to payroll transactions, ensuring records are aligned.
- **Financial Reporting**: Assist in preparing financial reports tied to payroll activities.
- **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to U.S. tax regulations, payroll systems, and governmental accounting standards.
- **Confidentiality**: Maintain the confidentiality of all financial information and follow company policies diligently.
- **Teamwork**: Work together with the billing and payroll team, driving efficiency, resolving conflicts, and ensuring consistent policy enforcement.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: High School Diploma; additional education in Accounting, Finance, or related fields is preferred.
- **Language**: Fluent in English. Both written and spoken. The role is 100% executed on English.
- **Experience**: Proven experience with billing, payroll, and financial operations.
- **Communication**: Excellent interpersonal skills for resolving payroll-related queries from Clients and collaborating with internal departments across borders.
- **Software Expertise**: Microsoft Office 360 (Excel and Teams)
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with a keen focus on accuracy.
