Job Description:
Purpose

This role is responsible for supporting the activities that will drive the people agenda and strategy. Working directly with the Head of HR CCA and the broader HR CCA Team, this person will provide a broad spectrum of HR support and services, either directly or through the HR Shared service centre to support leaders and employees. The incumbent will also have direct responsibility for implementing and embedding the talent management process/activities and support the engagement agenda across CCA.

Market Context

CCA is a multicultural, multilingual Diageo market with more than 37 different countries. It is composed over 100 employees based in the following locations: Miami, Cost Rica, Panama, and Dominican Republic. Caribbean & Central America is a mix of distributor markets and IMCs. It includes a range of High Growth and Growth markets.

Decision Making- Solves a range of straightforward to medium complexity problems; analyses possible solutions using own criteria as well as established policies and procedures.Financial Responsibility

The incumbent has financial responsibility of overheads versus AOP for roles within scope alongside Head of HR CCA HRBP will also manage assigned budget for training, relocation, I&D, development and engagement activities.

Management Responsibility
- Reports to the Head of HR CCA.
- This role has no direct reports however is expected to influence, coach and mentor line managers, employees, and Sr Stakeholders.
- Internal Stakeholders: CCA HR team. HR Shared service centre (First Point), regional and global HR team. Line managers and employees.

Complexity of the Role
- Incumbent will operate within a multi-cultural, multi-country, and multi-currency environment.
- The role requires knowledge and understanding of various employment laws within the Caribbean and Central American territory.
- Manages relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Outputs/Deliverables
- Provides managers and employees with coaching, counselling and or advice in people processes, policies, programs and leadership.
- Coordinates talent management activities (Talent Reviews, Calibrations, Succession planning) in line with defined timelines.
- Ensures talent data is accurate and up to date and provides analysis that will support decision making.
- Working with the Head of HR ensures that line management is driving the execution of people initiatives and tactics are aligned with the CCA People Strategy including cultural strategy.
- Assists in the implementation of strategies for HR plans, programs, processes, and tools to ensure business needs are met.
- Facilitates and supports logistics for courses and workshops (e.g., induction, performance management, diversity, leadership) to increase awareness and grow the skills of others.
- Provides input to Head of HR CCA to develop and support HR initiatives related to talent, reward, recognition, performance management, diversity and capability building.
- Develops and analyses workforce measurements (e.g., employee engagement, work-life issues) to help HR and therefore the business to make responsive decisions that impact people processes.
- Supports the Talent Engagement Team (Share service center) when applicable in recruiting and staffing the most capable talent for now and the future.
- Coordinates Annual Diageo Your Voice Survey and GPTW for CCA.
- Supports HRBP with engagement activities such as: analysis of survey results, facilitating focus groups, implementing initiatives that will result in strong employee engagement.
- Supports Head of HR CCA in organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Builds and develops relationships with peers and others to exchange feedback on issues, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs, and/or achieve business results.
- Maintains awareness of employment legislation and HR practices and highlight risks and opportunities.
