Job Description:
Market Context
- The Caribbean and Central America (CCA) is one of Diageo’s most diverse and profitable markets.
- CCA is the number 1 market in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in terms of profitability, _both in absolute and margin terms_, and close to number 2 in terms of NSV. Globally, CCA is the second most profitable market for Diageo, after North America.
- Our route to market is achieved through our 30+ Distributor Partners. We also manage co-packing partnerships throughout the region, and Panama is home to our innovation technology center and principal warehousing operations.

CCA comprises 37 countries and boasts a total population of 77 million people who speak a range of languages including English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Creole, Patois and other native languages.

Decision Making
- The BI Lead holds the General Manager and the Leadership Team accountable for Diageo´s ambition of becoming best performing, most trusted and respected consumer goods company.
- The Business Integrity Lead drives the end-to-end business integrity agenda - including breaches, reputational risks and independent oversight of investigations and decides on necessary escalation and communication process to be followed in line with the Breach Management Global Standard
- The Business Integrity Lead works closely with the Global Business Integrity team, local & global policy/process owners to deliver CCA Business Integrity priorities.
- The Business Integrity Lead reports directly to the General Manager CCA with an independent oversight from the Regional Business Integrity Director - Americas.

Leadership Accountabilites

The BI Lead CCA is an individual contributor role.

The leadership responsibility of this role is significant as it is expected to lead and influence all levels and all functions to ensure these operate with the highest standards of integrity across CCA

Key Stakeholders:
- CCA Executive Leadership Team- Business Integrity Americas Director- Global Business Integrity Team- Global Controls Assurance Team- Global Audit & Risk Team (GAR)

The BI Lead will lead the controls, risk and integrity programme within CCA. It is critical that the incumbent develops a partnership not just with GM’s but also with global, regional and local Legal and Finance. The BI Lead Operates with credibility at highest level of the organization - a seasoned leader who can be the organizational steward of the Business Integrity agenda

Key Accountabilities:
Strategizes and deploys every domain of ‘Doing business the right way’, including leading risk management, compliance and controls assurance across CCA
- Leads and embeds a culture of integrity to ensure universal understanding and awareness at every level in the market; ensures integrity programs and initiatives are pragmatic and fit for purpose
- Drives ethical decision-making across strategic business initiatives to support our ambition to be the most trusted and respected consumer goods company.
- Builds high integrity teams cross-functionally, providing coaching, identification of opportunities and development plans to build organizational capabilities across controls, compliance, and risk management.
- Partners with CAS team and leads the delivery and development of a best-in-class control environment (CARM)
- Proactively partners with leadership team to drive awareness, capability building and pragmatic solutions in managing risks (Risk Management)
- Leads projects driving continuous improvement/process transformation across CCA
- Connects, searches and spins, drives, implements and shares best practice across Diageo global
