**Position Title**: Senior Manager, Finance, HR & Administration

**Department**: Special Olympics Latin America

**Reports to**: President and Managing Director

**Position Summary**:
This position is responsible for directly supervising and monitoring overall finance, accounting, human resources, and administration services for the regional office meeting legislatives as well as headquarters’ requirements.

Takes a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems by providing timely communications to the President and Managing Director of SOLA and SOI Finance and HR, including proposed corrective action plans when necessary.

**_ Finance:_**
- Manage and control all aspects of finance as permitted by SOI, including bank and cash management, budgetary preparation, and controlling the adherence to SOLA’s strategy implementation plans.
- Liaise with SOI Finance in implementing and rolling financial accounting policies, procedures, and accounting systems affecting the SOLA region.
- Manages day-to-day accounting, invoicing, cash management and internal financial reporting for SOLA.
- Perform monthly and yearly financial closing reports of SOLA books as per stipulated deadline provided by SOI Finance.
- Reviews individual expense reports submitted by personnel for reimbursement (ensuring proper authorized approval signature).
- Responsible for preparing, updating, controlling, and monitoring SOLA's Fixed Asset, Equipment, and Furniture.
- Advise the Regional President and Managing Director regarding year-end budget projections monthly.
- Maintain grants database and advise regional staff on results from all grant investments.
- Develop opportunities within role in areas of fundraising, expanding opportunities for partnerships.

**_Human Resources:_**
- Manage HR Planning, Recruitment, Benefits, Staff Performance Reviews, Training & Development, Employee Relations.
- Liaise with SOI HR in in the implementation and roll out of HR policies and procedures.
- Liaise with external payroll provider in ensuring that ample and accurate information are provided for payroll processing of existing and new staff.
- Update and maintain employee's personal, leave and training records.

***_Administration:_**
- Manage the overall office operations: oversee maintenance and repairs, cleaning and delivery services, quotations, and purchases, finding solutions to IT challenges and the payment of office expenses.
- Coordinates with any outsourced payroll or corporate services providers (Travel Agency/Legal/HR)
- Coordinates SOLA regional meetings. Lead and negotiates venues for all conferences and major events.
- Coordinates and oversees all staff travels, lodging, etc. for visits, events, and conferences.
- Liaise with SOI Legal Department in performing contract/agreement reviews to ensure compliance with SOI contract policies.

**_Required Qualifications: _**
- 7+ years of experience in Financial, HR and or Administration
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop staff.
- Capability for identifying and solving complex problems, taking corrective action, and streamlining systems for greater efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with mínimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Self starter with strong organizational skills
- Advanced PC skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency (spoken and written) in English.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and to travel.

**_Desired Qualifications: _**
- Experience working in an international organization or non-profit environment.
