**Maintenance Manager Panama (PTY)**

**What you will be doing**

Under your leadership and management, and together with your team of ground engineers and mechanics, you will perform line maintenance, defect rectification and AOG support on our KLM fleet as well as our customer’s aircraft. Safety is of the highest priority as well excellent customer service. You will be in charge of the day-to-day operation and set the station’s strategy together with your area maintenance manager.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Lead your team of engineers and mechanics
- Staff recruiting
- Act as a licensed ground engineer
- Ensure compliance with EASA, DGAC and operator procedures and regulations
- Ensure environment, labor health and safety policies are followed
- Realize agreed financial targets and improve efficiency
- Maintain excellent relations with customer representatives
- Organize all local support processes

**Your profile**

You are a driven leader with strong interpersonal skills that enables you to deliver efficient and effective operations together with your team. You are not afraid to take initiative in order to deliver the high standards and excellence that KLM Engineering and Maintenance is known for. You have leadership experience as well as provable extensive knowledge and experience in technical handling and customer satisfaction. Your command of the English language in communication and writing is a must and if you are capable of the same in Spanish, it will be a plus.

**Knowledge and Experience**
- Comparable to Dutch HBO-level
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with Line Maintenance processes
- Is certifying staff according to EASA part-66 Cat. B1 or an equalized ICAO Type II license.
- Has sufficient knowledge about specific operator
