The Head of Operation & Maintenance is responsible to define all the Operation and Maintenance Policies and guidelines to be followed in each operation to ensure the proper maintenance of Company’s towers and ensures Longevity of company’s assets. As Head of Operations and Maintenance, you will partner cross-functionally to minimize workflow problems, or changes that would impact the team, and provide guidance about rules and regulations related to Operational matters affecting the team.Core ResponsibilitiesThe Core Responsibilities include: In charge of the operation standard definition and implementation at regional level.Manage regional master contracts for preventive and corrective maintenanceManage the Lease contracts: renewal of current contracts, secure lands and obtain savings, negotiate contracts with new landlordsDefine Landlord Care strategy: service quality and fidelity programsDefine Guidelines and Policies at regional level for all Operation and Maintenance activities and ensure those guideline and Policies are implemented at operations levelProvide quality support for inquires and problems within defined areas of responsibility.Guide, mentor, and train internal and external stakeholders about operation and maintenance concepts.Ensure customer and sales system data are current while adhering to quality control procedures.Produce reports on team’s key performance indicators, analyze results, and make recommendations.As Head of Operations and Maintenance, you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management, and career development of Engineers and/or Technicians. You’ll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.Core CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.A minimum of 10 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance.A minimum of 3 year of supervisory experience required. Working knowledge of TIA/EIA-222 (F/G/H) code and other relevant specifications required.Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines.Basic knowledge of Site Management toolsStrong negotiation skills, Strategic thinking and value creationAbility to produce and present business cases for various land acquisition projectsAbility to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate team to achieve results.Fluent in Spanish and English (writing and speaking)We are a leading multinational company of mobile services, internet and cable television that is present in Latin America and we are the leading telecommunications company in Panama.
