**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with the senior management team and internal stakeholders
- Producing and maintaining a project plan while conducting the project within constraints of the framework used by delivery teams
- Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Planning and scheduling project milestones using standard project management tools
- Estimating the resources and participants required to achieve project goals
- Ensuring proper risk management by documenting all risks and employing effective risk
- mitigation strategies and abiding by safety, hygiene and environmental norms and best practices.
- Support all aspects of the implementation and progression of assigned projects, from original concept through project production readiness with a cradle to grave approach
- Provide strong leadership for a project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals and adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones accountability
- Manage all issues, risks and changes, i.e. resolution, mitigation and change requests
- Communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Define high-level work plans, key project tasks and deliverables, and manage the integration of resources and knowledge across project tasks
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues - communication across leadership
- Prepare and present project reports to internal and external stakeholders following established formats and guidelines
- Coordinate definition of project scope and objectives and performs all aspects of project management principles.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and effectively coordinating all projects tasks
- Reliably and accurately manage project costs against the baseline and report progress
- Familiarity with computer assisted graphic design tools such as AUTOCAD or similar.
- Ability to read design blueprints including, but not limited to, isometric design prints and images.
- Travel may be required for on-site supervision and customer visits
- Must be able to react to change productively and to undertake other tasks as assigned
- Abide by ISO 9001:2015 standards and current Quality Management System
**Working Conditions**
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee
- conditions of an office environment and those of outdoor conditions with noise or other industrial hazards while working in active projects.
- Some travel will be required (both local and international).
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in a naval, mechanical, industrial engineering discipline or related field
- Minimum of 1 year Project Management experience is preferred
- Marine and/or Metal Works Industries knowledge/experience is an asset
- **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills
- Firm knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence and foster an environment of shared accountability
- Ability to collaborate with people, processes and systems
- Ability to be flexible and highly adaptive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Must be able to travel internationally
- Active Driver’s License is an asset
