_Accounting/HR Assistant _
**Job Description Accounting/Bookkeeping**

We are looking for a full time Bookkeeper/Accounting to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our Financial and Human Resources team. Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you have an accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

**Responsibilities**

**General Ledger Accounting**
- Reconcile Bank & credit card accounts monthly
- Control & Management of Credit Cards
- Create and update expense reports
- Process reimbursement forms
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Sales & use Tax Returns
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits
- Project Budget Management - Green Sheets
- Cash Management for Company
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Client Contract Services Related to Cost
- Maintain Accurate Financial Records and Run Reports as Needed
- Responsible for Company Insurance Policies (w/ CEO)

**Accounts Receivable Management**
- Enter A/R payments
- Complete A/R tasks
- Assis with auditing records with other departments

**Accounts Payable Management**
- Enter A/P as needed
- Reconcile vendor accounts as needed
- Manage Invoice entry, verification, and payments
- Manage A/P Aging
- Manage 1099 Preparation
- Reconcile AP and open PO’s

**Payroll & HR**
- Manage payroll processing through ADP
- Processing of New and Existing Employees
- Track Vacation/Sick Leave for Employees
- Prepare/Maintain a Variety of Automated and Manual Personal Records, Files and Reports
- Ensure Compliance with Federal, State and Local Laws
- Provide Required reporting for 401K plan
- Prepare offer and new hire documents
- Maintain I-9 files to Respond to employment verifications
- Respond to EDD earnings verification/ audit requests o Data collection, preparation of employee census information for compliance reports
- Assist in processing new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
- Assist in scheduling interviews for job applicants

**Skills**
- 5 years of Accounting experience & Bookkeeping
- Experience with Financial and ERP Systems, QuickBooks, MS Office
- Strong technical accounting background
- Strong analytic and problems solving skills
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
