**What does the role involve?**:

- Payroll Analyst responsibilities include reviewing payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payments are made on time. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent analytical skills with the ability to spot numerical errors.- Ultimately, you’ll help us maintain an efficient payroll process that complies with all local regulations.- Some of the tasks will be:
- Take care of end to end payroll process from data input, incidence information, calculations, payout and accounting registration
- Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes
- Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, master data, legal obligations among others.
- Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records and responds requests for internal and external audit
- Works as a team with local HR in accomplishing their goals
- Oversee payroll transactions (e.g. via e-banking)
- Manage payment calendars for the fiscal year
- Health & Safety responsible for Panama’s team

**What you need is**:

- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or similar
- Strong organizational abilities and PC skills required
- Five years of experience in payroll with garnishment experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of local payroll and tax regulations (regional knowledge is a plus)
- Multinational environment experience managing a payroll of at least +150 employees
- Hands-on experience with payroll softwares
- Native in Spanish and at least intermediate in English
- Valued skills: Demonstrated ability to work well with others, while maintaining a positive attitude, flexibility and taking initiative, Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
