**Legal Counsel DHL Airlines LATAM**

DHL Aero Expreso, S.A offers a new opportunity for the position of **Legal Counsel DHL Airlines LATAM **based in Panama. In this role, you will provide counsel to corporate management on legal matters in all Latam countries where the company operates in alignment with the Legal Head of the Department.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- General counsel/ advice, legal disputes/litigation process.
- “General Counsel”; providing more global and specialized advice in specific areas of the law including M&A & Finance, Competition/ Anti-trust, Intellectual Property, Aviation, Information Technology, Procurement, Data Protection, Employment & Labour Law.
- Demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organization’s business processes.
- Contribute or help develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.
- Develop and proactively contribute to IKOs/ Group KPIs with remote team members and monitor individual performance (where appropriate).
- Identify training needs and opportunities to develop further
- Negotiate and draft customer and supplier agreements, including NDA’s, LOI’s, subcontract agreements, and vendor agreements.
- Liaising with sales and operations teams on customer agreements.
- Customer claims
- Employment related legal advice to business partners (CBA, Collective conflicts, terminations, mutual agreements, etc)
- This position is intended to provide support to Sr Legal Counsel in all latam countries where DHL Airlines operate.

**Requirements**:

- Law Mayor degree (Licentiate) (preferred)
- 5-10 years of experience as a lawyer: Corporate background, multinational companies. Preferred experience in customs, employment matters, collective conflicts, claims.
- Advanced English level (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Capable to work under pressure and manage difficult situations.
- Detail oriented, capable of handling heavy, multi layered client, and be extremely responsive to tight turn arounds schedules for many transactions in various stages of development.
- Excellent soft skills working with others and embracing our respect and results culture.
