Allocation Manager

The **Allocation Manager** role is suitable for an experienced Merchandising Manager with a proven track record of managing the end-to-end trading lifecycle of products. The role will be the leader of the Allocation department that oversees all aspects of the following in-season trading processes:
- Trading
- Weekly replenishment and initial allocation
The role is accountable for setting and delivering the trading strategy across all Pandora Channels. Responsible for driving the continual improvement of departmental processes and strategy ensuring continued team development, whilst optimizing sales performance and inventory levels.
The role is one of four key leadership positions within the LAPAC Merchandising team, working closely with the Manager of Merchandising Financial Planning and Manager of Assortment Planning to drive the overall product and trading strategy.
**Your role as Allocation Manager**:
- Responsible for the allocation of jewelry to stores & E-commerce and ensuring that it is done in a structured and timely way.
- Accountable for the on-shelf availability in stores as well as E-commerce locations
- Accountable for the Maintenance of Aptos/Aptean allocation parameters and functionality
- Accountable for the alignment between Aptos/Aptean allocation forecast & Demand plans.
- Manage and develop the Allocation team
- Responsible for cross-functional collaboration across Merchandising, Sales, VM, and Global I&D to ensure alignment and drive actions for closing potential gaps.
**What is needed to succeed**:
- +5 years of solid experience working within Demand Planning, Supply Planning and/or Merchandise Planning, Inventory & Allocation Planning
- Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry a plus
- Experience from global organization
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Detailed understanding of the critical path of information flow and data analysis at the expert level.
- Direct communicator, flourishing in an open call-out culture.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong team player with networking and communication skills. Good facilitation skills are required.
- Strong sense of urgency and responsibility
- Super user in Office incl. Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demand Planning in Logility or similar planning system, Aptos allocation or allocation system background.
- Knowlegde of Power BI.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
